1. Black Sheeps
If you're a horror fan of a certain age, you might remember 2006's utterly bonkers New Zealand horror comedy Black Sheep, which saw a farm's worth of sheep turned into bloodthirsty zombies.
The horror-comedy became something of a cult hit yet seemed like a sure one-off, until in 2024 writer-director Jonathan King announced that he was working on a sequel.
And while Black Sheep 2 could've easily been yet another belated horror sequel that never came to fruition, it was recently announced that the film, hilariously titled Black Sheeps, has been shot and will screen at various genre festivals over the next few months.
The sequel picks up two decades after the original and brings us back to the original farm where the outbreak began, all while a dangerous new pathogen threatens the world.
The trailer looks absolutely mental - incredible practical sheep effects, insane practical gore, and even some furries for good measure.
This just might be a rare decades-later sequel that lives up to the original.
