What 2018's Oscar Winners Are Doing Next

7. Lee Unkrich & Adrian Molina

SAM ROCKWELL George W Bush
Pixar

Career So Far: Unkrich has long been a key member of the Pixar family, as co-director of Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo, and solo director of Toy Story 3. Molina, meanwhile, has worked his way up the Pixar ranks to make his directorial debut (sharing credit with Unkrich) on Coco, which he also co-wrote.

2018 Oscar Win For: The Best Animated Film Academy Award for Coco (Pixar's 9th, after Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Toy Story 3, Brave and Inside Out).

What's Next: Unkrich has a story credit on the in-production Toy Story 4. Beyond that, we don't currently know what's in the pipeline for either of them; or, for that matter, Coco producer Darla K Anderson, who accepted the Oscar alongside Unkrich.

However, Pixar have 5 as-yet unannounced movies earmarked for release between 2020 and 2022, so presumably they'll have plenty to get on with.
