What Does Spider-Man: Far From Home's Trailer Mean For Avengers: Endgame?
6. Does He Remember The Decimation?
Peter Parker is, generally, a happy kind of superhero. He's fun and quippy and is often having an absolute blast living his best superhero life, which would it all the more gut-wrenching when he didn't feel so good in Infinity War.
In Far From Home, he's back to the Spider-Man we all know and love. He's swinging around New York, flirting with MJ, going on vacation, and just have a good time all around. This movie supposedly has close proximity to Avengers: Endgame, but he doesn't look like a guy who was dead not so long ago.
That could be the trailer, since it'll want to focus on the fun aspects of the character. Kids aren't going to want to see a miserable, introspective Spidey having an existential crisis. It might even just speak to Peter's strength of character. Alternatively, it just might suggest that he doesn't even recall what happened to him, or that it didn't even happen at all.
The heroes need to come back from the dead. Not just one or two, but pretty much all of them who were snapped out of existence, thanks to the future films Marvel have planned. So that means the Snap needs either needs to be reversed, which would be a more straightforward bringing him back from the dead and something you'd think would be remembered, or averted completely. Avengers: Endgame is, in part, going to be a time travel movie of sorts, so there are going to be chances for the Avengers to change things that will alter the overall outcome, perhaps meaning the Snap never actually happened at all.
