What Does The Ending Of Fantastic Beasts Really Mean?

1. The Sequels SHOULD Have Other Names

Fantastic Beasts And The
Warner Bros.

This comes down to speculation, but there's no real way the sequels should be called Fantastic Beasts. The book that lends its name to the first in the series is set to be published a year after this point, so it's not like Newt will be finding more Fantastic Beasts (he didn't publish a sequel textbook as far as anyone's aware).

So, even though Eddie Redmayne semi-teased that David Yates told him that the sequels will follow the Fantastic Beasts And The... naming convention, it won't actually make sense. Maybe it's time Warner Bros and JK Rowling settled on something more like The Wizarding World And The...or Newt Scamander And The... if he's set to return. Or maybe a whole new naming convention entirely, with something simple like Grindelwald or Grindelwald And The Greater Good. At least they'd all make actual sense...
