What Does The Ending Of Suicide Squad Really Mean?
1. Did Batman Know About The Squad?

One of the most pertinent remaining questions concerns how aware Batman was of the entire Suicide Squad mission. It could be the case that his meeting with Waller is the first he hears about it, but that compromises his status as The World's Greatest Detective a little.
But then Waller operates on an entirely different level of security, and there is something compelling about the idea of a level of government that even Batman cannot simply muscle his way into. That's part of Waller's fundamental appeal. So perhaps it's most valuable to accept that he didn't know.
Of course that poses another question: how come he didn't notice Enchantress wiping out key military placements or the giant magical "machine" in the sky over Midway? Well, that one you're going to just have to chalk up to simple ignorance.
Superheroes are very parochial creatures, and if it's not happening in Gotham, Batman's usually not all that bothered, even if the rest of the world's fate is at stake. Not when he's not got his Justice League head on, anyway.
