What Spider-Man: Homecoming Cast Look Like In The Comics
18. Liz Allan (Toomes)
In The Comics
On the page, early romantic interest Liz Allan was Flash Thompson's girlfriend and the focus of Peter Parker's unrequited love. She was also the sister of the Molten Man, went on to marry Harry Osborn and sired him a child Normie (who followed him into the Green Goblin business). He's described as "flighty and thoughtless".
In The Film
Re-imagined as Liz Toomes (though that secret is withheld until the third act, obviously), film Liz takes the love interest position again, but it's not unrequited. And she's clearly a loving and thoughtful individual who ends up being undone by her father's villainy and Peter's commitment to stopping him rather than dating her.
17. Anne Marie Hoag
In The Comics
The head of Damage Control, Inc - the New York City based disaster relief and construction firm specializing in post-superhero incident clean-up - is a formidable woman, traditionally dressed in green with a shock of white hair.
In The Film
Though she's only on screen very briefly, Tyne Daly's Hoag looks like she's been taken directly off the page. We know very little about her, aside from her being director of Damage Control Inc, but she definitely looks the part.
