What The Avengers: Infinity War Cast Look Like In The Comics

In the Comics:

Though originally "evil", designed by the megalomaniacal Ultron, the android Vision would eventually become an Avenger, and even marry Scarlet Witch. During the Infinity Gauntlet event, Vision attempts to use his phasing ability to destroy Thanos, but is thwarted, with Thanos gruesomely ripping out his parts and slaying him.

In the Film:

Having been created from the Mind Stone, Vision is most in danger, with Thanos on the hunt. Though they're able to save much of his programming and defend him in Wakanda, Thanos' forces eventually break through the country's barriers, forcing Wanda to destroy the Mind Stone with her own power. However, Thanos is able to bring it back with the Time Stone, ripping it out of Vision's head and leaving him for dead.

Though Vision first appeared in Age of Ultron, actor Paul Bettany has been around since the first Iron Man, playing Tony Stark's AI butler JARVIS before eventually donning the body suit as the android Avenger. Infinity War is the first time audiences see Vision in 'human' form, one not seen in the comics.

Though more deeper-coloured and more metallic, Vision's android form in the films strongly resembles his comics counterpart.
