What The Avengers: Infinity War Cast Look Like In The Comics
11. Black Widow
In the Comics:
A Russian spy who started out as one of Marvel's iconic villains, Natalia Romanova's past is mired in mystery, some speculating her to be old enough to have been born in the twenties. Her experiences in the Red Room made her one of Russia's deadliest operatives, and she made attempts on Tony Stark's life and clashed with, as well as worked with, Hawkeye.
Her eventual turning to the side of the angels saw her joining, leaving, and rejoining the Avengers, becoming one of their greatest allies. Though she had little to no role fighting Thanos in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, she was seen helping civilians on the ground.
In the Film:
Alongside Cap, Natasha has been fighting the good fight incognito all over the world. She first appears in Infinity War to save Vision and Wanda in Scotland.
She's able to hold her own against Proxima Midnight in Wakanda, fighting her along with Okoye, before Wanda ends the fight with a killing blow. She's one of those left alive after Thanos' culling.
Since Iron Man 2, Natasha Romanov has been portrayed by Scarlett Johansson. Though changing her hair's style, she's largely resembled her red-headed, black-clad comics counterpart, apart from her undercover blondness in Infinity War.
