Jackie Brown: The Smooth One
Underscored with a rich, soulful soundtrack with the likes of Bobby Womack, Foxy Brown and Randy Crawford, Jackie Brown is as smooth as they come. Jackie (played by legendary blaxploitation actress Pam Grier) is not only in the minority of being one of Tarantino's only female leads but she is also one of his coolest, easy-going protagonists. She is not a woman of action but rather manipulates and controls people into acting on her behalf. It is of little wonder that Jackie's smooth actions eventually leave her on top, free to emigrate to Madrid with the money. Those who love Jackie Brown appreciate keeping it calm, smooth and together.
