2. The Old Republic - The Knights Of The Old Republic Series
Now we jump back in the Star Wars timeline, to the Old Republic. If you enjoy a good story, a good game and an expansive and enjoyable world then KOTOR is for you. Steeped in the world of the Old Republic, comes perhaps the best figure of non-Skywalker canon, Darth Revan. His story is a major one not only making up the events of the Knights of the Old Republic video game but also inspiring a novel, a sequel to KOTOR and appearing in the Old Republic online game. The issue remains that there is nothing, really, that links any of this to the mainstream Saga (barring lightsabers, the Jedi etc). If you enjoyed the world of Kyle Katarn, the Old Republic will blow you away. If you enjoy RPGs, then even better; the original KOTOR is a fine RPG in its own right. This world is waiting to be explored and will open up a huge new time period of the Expanded Universe after finishing with Revan. This includes our next figure.
