Who Actually Killed Who In Scream?

3. Kenny Jones

Played by W. Earl Brown, Kenny Jones was Gale Weathers' cameraman in the original Scream movie.

Like everybody else featured on this list, however, Kenny was another who would end up as part of Scream's body count by the time all was said and done with that 1996 picture. In terms of who killed Kenny, that's one of the more clean-cut deaths of the Scream franchise.

With Billy Loomis out of the equation due to being 'dead' - as in, Billy had been faux killed by Ghostface as part of his and Stu's grand plan - the person responsible for killing Kenny is Stu.

While Gale would later play up how Kenny was gutted by Ghostface, the reality was that Kenny had his throat sliced by the killer. His final words of "the door" would help Sidney get to temporary safety, but Kenny's corpse was soon placed on top of his news van - with that dead body conveniently falling onto the van's windshield when Gale tries to make her escape.

Kenny may have been a minor character in the greater picture of Scream, yet his role is one that's been referenced in subsequent Scream movies. That being in how Gale Weathers' new cameramen always have a sense of trepidation at taking the gig, for fear of their fate ending up the same as Kenny's.
