Why All 13 Pixar Movies Secretely Point To An Apocalypse

6. The Incredibles (2004)

The Incredibles The Incredibles is the hardest film to place on this list because a time frame isn't given for when it actually takes place. it has a retro look to it yet it also has a very futuristic quality. It isn't in an alternate dimension like Monsters Inc. but it also isn't in the present day so my guess is it's a prequel of sorts making it the oldest story so far. In the time of The Incredibles technology is advanced far more than it is in the Toy Story trilogy, A Bug's Life and Finding Nemo but there is also a stigma to anything that is against the status quo. This is why I believe the film to be a prequel. It seems that all of the highly advanced technology was disposed of in the past which could explain how the toys became sentient. They were experimented on and given life but when all of the technology was done away with they had to pretend to be lifeless to avoid being destroyed as well.

My favorite movies are Before Sunrise, Pulp Fiction, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien and Her so don't be surprised to see those pop up in my writing from time to time. I'm currently in school for Journalism/English and I have an obsession with all things cinematic on the side.
