5. Finding Nemo (2003)
Just as Toy Story 2 strengthened the idea of toys loving the humans Finding Nemo shows more hatred for them. This picks up where A Bug's Life left off and elevates the detestation that animals feel towards humans. Finding Nemo is also important because it brings the films back to the present day, now 2003, and picks the story up where Toy Story 2 left off. So far it has not been revealed if the animals can communicate with humans or not even though they are shown to have the same level of intelligence. This will be explored more with Ratatouille.
