And what about what it could mean for Marvel's big screen properties finally coming together with the Netflix universe? Because it could really make a difference to that supposedly "unsolvable" issue.

There's nothing to say that the Netflix universe isn't an alternate dimension to the mainstream MCU. Sure, they have links (usually in the form of Easter Eggs or fairly tenuous or innocuous connections), but nothing that would stop Marvel from retconning that strand as another universe entirely. And that would allow the characters to appear in Secret Wars - even if it proves to be a cameo before returning to their own reality - which would give fans demanding a cross-over exactly what they've wanted.

And Iron Fist could even be left at home... What's not to love?!
