Wonder Woman 1984 - 10 Things You Need To Know About The Cheetah

6. She Has More Powers Than You Think

DC Comics

The Cheetah has all the usual abilities you would expect; superspeed, agility, superstrength, amplified hearing, and a heightened sense of smell. But she has many other powers that aren't as well-known.

First off, she's way more durable than she appears. In fact, she can withstand the most devastating blows from heroes like Wonder Woman or Superman.

Speaking of Supes, the Cheetah can go toe-to-toe with the boyscout superhero. Since Kryptonians are weak to sorcery and the Cheetah's power is magical by nature, she can overpower the Man of Steel.

She also possesses theiranthropy, which allows her to metamorphosise anyone into a cheetah hybrid like herself if she cuts them. She used this power on Superman, mutating him into a feral therianthrope. (Man, Supes just can't catch a break against her.)

Her transformation powers have also changed over the years. Originally, she transformed into the Cheetah if she consumed human blood. After receiving a power upgrade from the witch, Circe, she could switch from human to her cat form at will. Not only that, Circe granted Minerva the ability to control cheetahs.
