Wonder Woman: Every Major Character Ranked From Worst To Best

10. General Ludendorff

With Ares kept hidden away, the marketing pushed Danny Huston's General Erich Ludendorff as the movie's main villain, and it's a role he plays throughout a lot of the movie.

Huston is fairly convincing - if hamming it up a bit too much - as the evil general who wants the war to continue and see a whole load of destruction, but again he suffers due to some poor writing and a lack of compelling motivation and screentime.

The actor is obviously having a good time, but he spends too much of the film off-screen to be a serious threat or a truly compelling villain, and since you know he's obviously not going to be Ares you're just waiting for a bigger bad to emerge from the shadows. That means when we do spend time with him it largely slows things down, rather than adding to the excitement.
