Lucy Davis has long since established her ability to give small, scene-stealing comedic performances in the likes of Shaun of the Dead and The Office, and she brings that great comic timing and delivery to Wonder Woman.

As Steve Trevor's secretary she invariably doesn't fit into the plot too much, but - as glimpsed in the trailers - she does manage to make a lasting impression with what time she gets on screen.

Her first meeting with Diana is excellent, and it wrings plenty of laughter out of her relationship with Steve and surprise (and delight) at Diana's nature (and weaponry). Aside from being a comedic highlight there's also a real warmth to the character which underpins her sense of humour.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
