5. David Gordon Green, Director
This may sound like a strange choice, as half of the Internet will know Green as the director of stoner comedies like Pineapple Express and Your Highness, and the other half will recognize him as the director of intense indie dramas like Snow Angels and All the Real Girls. But his comedy cred makes him the perfect person to inject something into a Wonder Woman flick that DC films are sorely missing: Levity. Nolan's Batman films were great, if incredibly downbeat. And now it seems as if their dour attitude is going to spread out through the rest of the DC cinematic universe. Man of Steel was such an unrelenting gut punch with no faith in anything other than the power of the intergalactic fist, and I can't imagine that going over well with someone like Wonder Woman. DC needs its Iron Man, and if that means that Wonder Woman needs to bring on the chuckles, then I'm absolutely fine with that.
