Wonder Woman Review: 10 Best Moments

Wonder Woman is here at last, and mercifully breaks the DC Extended Universe's three-film curse by unexpectedly enjoying some of the year's best reviews for a blockbuster film, being roundly praised as an entertaining, heartfelt thrill-ride with strong direction and excellent performances.

It's simply a joy that, after a colossal one-two punch of disappointment last year with Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman is actually, against considerable odds, overflowing with brilliant, memorable and even iconic moments fans will be discussing for a long, long time.

More to the point, these moments aren't all superficial action beats either: the film is surprisingly nuanced when it comes to its characters, ideas and general world-building, resulting in a fully-formed superhero origin story that's a major breath of fresh air in light of recent DC misfires.
