5 That Sucked...
5. To Rome With Love

If there was one film I could pick to be greatest disappointment, it will be this one. Coming off the back of his Academy award for Midnight in Paris, this lacked the simplistic charm, the engaging characters and most crucially a plot that would interest its audience. What I pictured while skipping back and forth between each narrative was Woody opening his desk and picking out four sheets of paper at random and stitching them together to create this. While I admit the imagery of Rome is beautiful and always pleasing on the eye, the aesthetics must be backed by something worth while, something appealing; instead were left with half ideas, under-developed characters and a running time that is 30 minutes too long.
