Woody Allen's Barcelona flick gets title

Woody Allen has finally decided on a new title for this 'love letter to Barcelona' movie starring the lovely Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz and the awesome Javier Bardem. The film will be titled Vicky Cristina Barcelona says The Hollywood Reporter. I much preferred the working title Midnight in Barcelona, not quite sure where Allen is coming from here. I don't believe there has been an official plot released for the movie yet but IMDB claim it has something to do with a painter who enters a relationship with two American tourists with the conflict starting when his ex-girlfriend gets jealous. Presumably Javier Bardem is the painter, Penelope Cruz is his jealous ex, Scarlett Johannson and the equally lovely Rebecca Hall (she was Bale's wife in The Prestige) are the two American tourists. That's just my take on things, Allen is keeping the details very close to his chest. Vicky Cristina Barcelona will be out in Spain at the end of next year and I'm really looking forward to it. Match Point was one of my favourites of 2005 and although Scoop was a dud, it was a dud that could only be made by a great director.
