The Condemned failed to make any money at the box office, it would mark the end of WWE producing movies for theatrical releases. The Condemned opened at #9 in the charts last weekend and the announcement from the company has been made that it is to stick to the "straight to dvd" market. I do believe there is a fanbase for movies like
The Marine,
See No Evil and The Condemned if they released them in this avenue, as they all were quite successful in their dvd sales. The movies were always just B-films with wrestlers. They never belonged on our cinema screens. We await the news of which wrestler they are going to use and what genre they wish to tackle next with baited breath.
