X-Men: 10 Actors Who Could Play The MCU's Cyclops
2. Henry Golding
When it comes to casting a new Marvel hero, there are a few things on the checklist that are desirable. Is the actor likeable? Are they able to do action? Do they have decent comedy skills? Will audiences believe them in the role? Well, in the case of Henry Golding, he manages to hit all of those notes, so perhaps Scott Summers is the part for him.
Golding has constantly proven himself as an actor, delving into almost every genre of filmmaking and showing that he can excel. He nailed the likeable romantic lead in Crazy Rich Asians, did a solid job as the action hero in Snake Eyes and proved his versatility as a gangster in The Gentlemen. After all of that, it seems like playing a dependable superhero would be a walk in the park.
Of course, like many promising actors, there are already rumours abound that Golding could be heading to the MCU. The Wonder Man show currently in development for Disney Plus has seen him fan cast in the titular role. That would certainly work, but maybe something bigger, i.e. Cyclops, would be even better.
