2. Is Jean Grey Still The Phoenix?
The other big news from the epilogue is that Jean Grey and Cyclops are still alive and that's something of a relief. That is until you realize that Jean's Phoenix powers (as defined in these movies) are still dormant in her subconscious. The assassination of Bolivar Trask and the creation of the Sentinels is completely unrelated to Jean becoming the Phoenix, and so Wolverine preventing the former, does not just automatically prevent the latter. Happy though the ending is, we're afraid Jean might still possess powers beyond her control and so Wolverine and Professor X will have to tread very carefully to avoid another incident like the last time. Then again if Bryan Singer were to bring back the original cast one last time and have a go at the Dark Phoenix movie he originally intended to make, then we would definitely allow him that chance.
As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG.
