X-Men: 10 Major Plot Holes Days Of Future Past Created

3. What Ever Happened To Magneto Anyway?

During the epilogue of the movie, we get to see the whole gang together again. Everyone is alive, Rogue makes it into the movie after all, even Kelsey Grammer stops by as Beast and Scott and Jean are back as well. But conspicuous by his absence is a character who is just as essential to this series as the titular heroes themselves, Magneto. We last see the young Erik escaping the scene at the end of the White House battle, where he will presumably bide his time until the events of X-Men (2000). The last time we see the Ian McKellan version is when he dies during the Sentinel's attack in the future, but of course that timeline no longer exists. So where does the X-Men's arch enemy fit into this happy new era that was created by Wolverine's actions. What happened to Mystique for that matter? Since the Last Stand no longer exists, Mystique was never cured, and so she would still posses her shape shifting abilities and presumably still be aligned with Magneto. We suppose the two of them could still be out there, but this was supposed to be the final appearance of the original cast so it's a crying shame that we may never see what became of them.

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
