https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOc_7H-_7oY Returning to the fertile ground of The Last Stand for more unused material, here's one of many alternative endings. In this coda, Logan returns to the very same Canadian bar he was seen drinking in at the start of the first X-Men movie, thus bringing the trilogy full circle. This time round, he gets a better reception from the bartender, thankfully. Interestingly, this scene would have provided a link with 2013's The Wolverine, Logan's second spin-off, since he's seen living in Canada at the start of that action flick. Although the scene provides a certain sense of closure to Logan's journey, it just isn't very compelling viewing, meaning that cutting it was the right call. And nothing was truly lost since fans can still watch it as a deleted scene.
