X-Men: Apocalypse - 10 Characters Who Need To Come Back
2. Juggernaut
No, you're not going to get the quote, everyone knows it by now. It's extremely hard to see an image of Vinnie Jones' version of the Juggernaut and not immediately say those four words, but there's a huge amount of potential for the character in his back-story that was almost entirely absent from The Last Stand. The unstoppable force that is the Juggernaut has one of the most interesting pasts of any Mutant, and Singer has an excellent opportunity to elaborate on it in Apocalypse. Cain Marko's (Juggernaut's real name) original story, and most widely-known, is that he is the step-brother to Charles Xavier, being the son of Karl Marko, the man who married Xavier's mother. Multiple conflicts in the comics have centred around the familial relationship that Marko and Xavier share, and while the main focus of Apocalypse is obviously going to be the immortal, titular mutant, there would be plenty of room for the return of the Juggernaut. The character was even originally going to appear in Days Of Future Past, but Singer instead decided to use the character Quicksilver instead. Additionally, Josh Helman, who plays William Stryker in the film, was originally cast to play Marko, so don't be surprised to see the character return. Just don't expect him to be played by Vinnie Jones.
