X-Men: Apocalypse - 10 Things That Will Definitely Happen

9. The Four Horsemen Will Cause Plenty Of Death And Destruction

Apocalypse, played by Inside Llewn Davis actor Oscar Isaac, might be the biggest, baddest mutant yet to appear onscreen, but that doesn€™t mean he€™ll be getting his blue hands too dirty. Apocalypse is a bulky guy, but more importantly he has a Svengali-esque hold over those he commands, his Horsemen. Traditionally Apocalypse has four horsemen at any time, unsurprisingly named War, Famine Pestilence and Death, and they usually act as assassins or else do all the fighting whilst he puts the finishing touches to his latest scheme. We€™ve already seen the horsemen in ancient Egypt as En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse€™s spell-check bothering given name) built the pyramids with his mind in the final scene of DOFP, but given what we€™ve seen in the trailer it seems that Storm, Angel/Archangel, Psylocke and Magneto are the new Horsemen. Apocalypse has recruited some big names in the past, most notably Wolverine, but to have him sweep the strong-willed Magneto off his feet is intriguing, especially as it will test whatever friendship Charles and Erik have left at this point. That battle should form the crux of the pair€™s conflict but don€™t expect the other three horsemen to sit on the sidelines. We€™ve already seen concept art for Angel's razor-sharp metal wings (more on that later) and Psylocke actor Olivia Munn has shared a fair few videos of her fight training sessions, so it's safe to assume that they'll be clashing with our heroes more than once.
