3. Lupita Nyong'o - Storm
Forget an Americanised version of the weather-wielding demi-Goddess, Bryan Singer needs to reimagine the character with a closer portrayal to the source, and frankly it couldn't hurt the X-Men team to have a little more global diversity in their ranks. Having just been added to the Star Wars cast, Nyong'o is hot stuff, and though she hasn't got a considerable number of films under her belt so far, her impact in 12 Years A Slave came thanks to a wonderful performance, and her ability is not under scrutiny. After Halle Berry's near-ruinous performance as Storm in the series so far, we need something different, and this casting would be a smart move that draws a line under that era of the franchise. And hopefully Singer will resist the urge to have Berry re-appear as one of the continued original cast members.
