After James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender took on the roles of Xavier and Magneto in First Class, it was widely assumed that that would put Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen out of the picture for the foreseeable. Then the pair returned for Days Of Future Past, the timeline was changed and it seemed Stewart and McKellen were gone for good. But Days wasn't the send-off for the two veteran actors that it initially seemed to be, according to Patrick Stewart, who recently let slip details he probably shouldn't have been slipping. While it's uncertain whether or not Stewart's Prof X will return in Apocalypse - Stewart declared it "unlikely" - he confirmed that McKellen's Magneto would "certainly" appear. Now the speculation begins as to how exactly McKellen will once again fit in alongside Fassbender.
