He's not necessarily a 'name' yet, but within the next couple of years, Oscar Isaac could become some kind of new sci-fi icon. He's already a favourite of the indie scene, but following an acclaimed turn in Ex Machina, Isaac's got a major role coming up in the new Star Wars trilogy, where he'll be playing X-wing pilot Poe Dameron. Then, of course, Isaac will be playing supervillain Apocalypse in the new X-Men movie, meaning the actor will be bringing to life the greatest antagonist ever seen in the saga's universe. It'll cement Isaac's growing reputation as a man able to play anything; that much fans and commentators know. What's less clear is how exactly Apocalypse will work on the big-screen. Audiences got a glimpse of him in a post-credits Days Of Future Past sting, but how he'll look and sound in the new movie and what powers he'll have, even Isaac has recently admitted to not knowing.
