X-Men: Apocalypse: Everything We Already Know

6. Charles Xavier Is (Finally) Bald

After young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) sported a fairly sensible hair-do in First Class and then opted for the hippie look in Days Of Future Past, many have been wondering when he's going to lose the locks and don his iconic bald look as owned so memorably by Patrick Stewart in his older iteration. Well, fans need wait no longer, as McAvoy posted this picture of him having his head shaved for the part. How the movie will explain the baldness remains up in the air, though it's likely going to be suggested to be a by-product of his psychic powers (possibly due to that encounter with Apocalypse as shown in the Comic-Con trailer), and you can expect it to probably be a minor source of comic relief during the movie. Even though Apocalypse's inevitable success will surely usher in yet another trilogy of X-Men movies, seeing Xavier take on his classic look will essentially help bridge the younger and older versions of the characters one step closer together.
