X-Men: Apocalypse - Everything You Need To Know

7. Alexandra Shipp Is Storm

Which makes sense, because X-Men: Apocalypse is set soon after Days Of Future Past, and a good couple of decades before the rest of the X-Men films. And that flashback at the start of The Last Stand, with Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart de-aged with CGI, looked kinda creepy. Much better to go with younger actors, then, if they absolutely must. From the sounds of it losing Halle Berry as Storm probably won't be that big of a deal, either, as the actor was apparently kind of a nightmare to work with on the last film, demanding more screen time and money than her current standing in Hollywood really merits. Storm is still a great character, though, so it's good she'll be returning. The younger Ororo Munroe in Apocalypse will be played by Alexandra Shipp, who is so far best known as the star of Nickelodeon kid's show House Of Anubis, the Alvin And The Chipmunks films, and playing tragic R&B singer Aaliyah in a made-for-TV movie.
