Whilst the loss of the original X-Men cast should certainly be mourned, it's not like Apocalypse will be starting totally from scratch. Exactly what state the franchise's timeline is in right now remains to be seen (it'd be a miracle if Fox even manage to have a handle on it to be honest), but the sixties-through-seventies actors from First Class and Days Of Future Past will be returning. At least, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are definitely on board as Magneto and Professor X, respectively, though who knows if the latter will still be rocking his hippie look in this eighties-set film. Nicholas Hoult will be back as Beast, whilst Jennifer Lawrence continues as Mystique. They're also bringing back the under-used Evan Peters as Quicksilver from Days Of Future Past, who will hopefully get to appear in more than one awesome action scene. What remains to be seen is if Hugh Jackman as Wolverine will pop in again, or if he's had enough of time travel...
