After a sizeable role in First Class, CIA operative and mutant sympathiser Moira MacTaggert sat out Days Of Future Past completely. The Apocalypse trailer shows her not only passing on vital information to Charles and Alex Summers, but also suiting up to join Mystique's X-Men in their fight against Apocalypse. That's pretty much all we know at this stage, with Byrne's role one of the few to not have really been expanded upon by Singer or the Fox marketing department so far. We know she's definitely not a latent mutant though so there are still a lot of questions over what she's doing on the Blackbird with the proper X-Men. They might be just inexperienced kids going into battle for the first time but they're still more likely to be able to hold their own against four super-powered horsemen. Maybe she's there in an official capacity to provide relief or take samples but whatever the reason it's good to have her back.
