Wait... so they're not only reintroducing the repressed memory angle from The Last Stand, but Magneto being a negative influence too?

Well, this is just a little bit awkward now. Of course Magneto is the X-Men's big villain, but this all feels overly familiar at this point, with the whole angle of Erik going off the grid to stop being Magneto having already been covered in Apocalypse.

Either way, it's looking as though he's living among a community this time, with a stranded boat being used for a makeshift home. This is all destroyed as Jean Grey arrives, but still, at least you had a few years of peace and quiet, Erik.
