X-Men Dark Phoenix Trailer
20th Century Fox

The trailer features a cover of The Doors' The End throughout, which is yet another sad entry into the trailer trope of 'here's a slowed down cover of an already slow song'.

You can see why it was chosen, both for it representing the end of this timeline and with the X-Men rights going to Marvel, but even that just means it's all a little on the nose, and slowing the song down - when it's not even a fast song to begin with - just adds to the sense of boredom and misery.

Hans Zimmer's score doesn't do too much to stand out either, sadly - when he's on form he's among the best blockbuster composers of all time, but instead we get the lazy, generic Zimmer score used here, to little effect.
