5. Why Is Everybody So Afraid?
One thing that is apparent throughout the trailer is the element of fear. This is extremely evident in almost every shot, but is made especially clear during the shots of Mystique being dragged along the ground by some unknown force (controlled by the young version of Magneto) and during a flight sequence involving Halle Berry's Storm in which she turns around with absolute terror in her eyes. Storm is not the kind of woman we'd expect to be touching cloth over anything that comes her way - after all she's one of the most badass women in comics, so what exactly are we missing here? What have Singer and his cronies deliberately chosen to omit from the teaser? If you're a big X-Men fan, though, you probably know where we're going with this. Which brings us to our next question...
