2. Bingbing Fan As Clarice Ferguson/Blink
To the moon and back. For some people it is an idle commitment, but for Blink it is the range of her powers. One of the young mutants that the alien race Phalanx kidnapped in order to assimilate their powers, she has the ability to blink between any two points in space teleportation to you and me. However her power comes with a slight twist in that she creates a 'blink wave,' meaning anything caught within it is what blinks to the new location. She used this power to escape her captors by only half-blinking one of them causing what she called 'shredding'. Unfortunately she died in the process. She is also able to use the energy for her portals in the form of short javelins which she can throw at an object to cause it to teleport. As with most of the Marvel Universe though, this is when things get a little complicated. She was such a popular character she was then given a major part in the Age of Apocalypse storyline which took place on Earth-295 with a slightly more refined skillset and a much more confident attitude as the leader of the Exiles. In this alternative universe Charles Xavier was killed accidentally by his own time travelling son (just go with it) and it allowed Apocalypse to rise to power and lead to mutants becoming the dominant species on Earth. The first appearance of Earth-616 Blink was in Uncanny X-Men #317 and the first appearance of Earth-295 Blink was in X-Men: Alpha #1.
