X-Men Days of Future Past: 5 Burning Questions

1. How Will It Affect The Past/Future Of The Franchise?

first-class As mentioned before, this is a very ambitious idea going on. We€™re not just talking about Leonard Nimoy popping in to help guide a young Enterprise crew into new adventures; this is trying to tie together a franchise with a pretty disjointed continuity. Singer has stated in interviews that this film may re-write the history of the franchise a little bit, referencing The Last Stand in specific. And it could work. It€™s what every time travelling movie does. Someone from the future always comes back and interferes, which splits off everything into a timeline that erases everything that has already happened. It helped transform the T-1000 into a good guy, it gave Marty McFly a truck and prevented Joseph Gordon-Levitt from growing up to become Bruce Willis. This new timeline may just end up giving the original cast an opportunity at another sequel, as well, by reviving all those characters who were originally killed off. All in all, the possibilities for Days of Future Past are endless. We have no idea what Singer and company have in store for us. But as long as it knocks our socks off €“ that's all that matters. Right?
