1. Bolivar Trask
Over the weekend, no name has been thrown about more by comic book nerds than Bolivar Trask, the man who created the Sentinels as a means of defending the human race against mutants. All of them. A complex genius who can't be easily categorised as an outright bad guy, he is nevertheless the cause for so much death and destruction in the Days of Future Past comic book arc. His methods of course place him as an ultra-conservative - and the imagery, of mutants in concentration camps, reminds us all of the Holocaust - yet there's a lot more to Trask than initially meets the eye; the Sentinels end up forcing him to help their supremacy, and when Trask realises the error of his ways too late, he has to pay the ultimate price. This would make for some fantastic drama (and action, no doubt) in the film. Dinklage might not resemble the typical comic book depiction of the character, but he's proven throughout his body of work that he's superb at portraying complex, sometimes conflicted characters, and that's exactly what's needed here. Who do you think Peter Dinklage will end up playing in Days of Future Past?
