5. Hugh Jackman Hasn't Officially Signed On To Star In Wolverine 3 (Yet)
Hugh Jackman may have shown up at Comic-Con to hype his final appearance as Wolverine, but the Australian actor recently revealed that he's yet to sign up to actually star in the move (also unclear is whether or not he'll be showing up in X-Men: Apocalypse next year; if yes, Fox has done a great job of keeping his involvement a secret). Don't go panicking about Jackman abandoning the character just yet though; it turns out that he has a very valid reason for approaching this movie in such a cautious manner! "I don't have a start date because we're not going to have start dates until we have that script perfect," he explained. "It matters too much to me, I care too much about the character, about the audience, and when you say it's going to be your last one... I just want to leave everything on the table, absolutely everything." The Wolverine was a huge improvement over X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and while director James Mangold is set to return to helm this follow-up, you can't blame Jackman for wanting to ensure that he's able to go out on a high. Based on other recent comments from the actor during the promotional tour for Pan - a movie he no doubt now wishes he had also waited a little longer on - he's more than happy with how it's coming together so far anyway, so expect Jackman to don the claws one final time as scheduled come 2017.
