3. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
What's worse than adding numbers to a movie title in place of the words 'to' or 'too'? Why, doing it more than once of course! In keeping with the souped-up, dumbed-down nature of the franchise, 2 Fast 2 Furious is without a doubt one of the worst movie titles of all time. The scary thing is, there were probably high-fives being thrown around the marketing department when they came up with that gem of a title. The franchise has always had a rough time in naming their sequels; after this movie Tokyo Drift added a subtitle, the fourth avoided using the word 'the' altogether, and part five couldn't even decide what it was called (Fast Five? Fast & Furious 5? Fast & Furious: Rio Heist?), but none of those titles were a patch on the sheer awfulness of 2 Fast 2 Furious. Sometimes it's better to take a bit of creative liberty when naming a sequel but in this case it's safe to say that The Fast and the Furious 2 would have been much better. Instead, this title will live on as one of the most famous so-bad-its-actually-kinda-awesome movie monikers in history.
