15. This Is The Exact Same Plot As X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Look, everyone already knows that Bryan Singer has something of an agenda to wipe out the sins of the past in the X-Men franchise (he even went to the effort of making a gag about it in Apocalypse), but the similarities to X-Men Origins are not a great idea.

The idea of Magneto trying to hide in the countryside within the welcome embrace of an industrial job with a family and a little homestead of his own is almost exactly the same as how Origins escalates. Then when his wife is killed, you'd be forgiven for wondering if you'd somehow time travelled and were watching the same movie.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to erase past problems, but to then simply reappropriate key scenes and not think anyone will notice is just mental.
