19. Moira MacTaggert Is Indiana Jones (And A Massive Idiot)

What exactly is Moira MacTaggert's job? In First Class, she appeared to be a fairly hands-on CIA agent with basic field training, a licence to carry a gun and a go getter attitude. By Apocalypse, the near 50 year old (supposedly) has graduated into a part-desk jockey with her own office and part-Indiana Jones who goes on field missions to Egypt alone and goes spelunking when necessary.

She's basically Indiana Jones now, which is not only an incredibly odd development but also stunningly irresponsible. Having compiled a file on the situation, going in alone is clearly idiotic. Even if there's no potentially world ending mutant, she knows about the fanatics.

And then it's down to her - and not the supposed learned followers of Apocalypse - that the villain is accidentally brought back to life. So, apparently for hundreds of years nobody managed to do what she did by simply leaving the door open. Smart guys.
