15. Magneto Is Quicksilver's Father

That same lack of relation isn't true of Quicksilver. There was a cheeky comic easter egg in Days Of Future Past about how Peter's Mom knew a guy who could manipulate metal, but it's expanded to a key plot point here - Quicksilver reassures Mystique he's not afraid of Magneto because he's his father.

Superhero fans the world over probably geeked out at this sly addition to the continuity (something that'll no doubt play a part in the family-less Magneto's arc), although Mystique's reaction is a little more on theshocked side, leading to the trailer's best joke (that unfortunately wasn't saved for cinemas)...
