OK, time to speculate. What exactly is En Sabah Nur's big plan? The logical thinking would be that it's to kill all humans and build a new mutant-only civilisation, which would certainly fit with that giant Egyptian structure he's building, although that doesn't account for the way he's going about it - what does Charles have to do with it if it's physical destruction.
