8. Alkali Lake

As I said in the intro, the prospect of Mystique posing as Stryker and taking possession of Logan was what had me the most excited about the X-Men films going forward, so I was a little disappointed when it started looking likewe wouldn't be getting the new-timeline Weapon X program fully explored in the sequel (I know Hugh Jackman's expensive, but c'mon).

Well, after a brief appearance of Stryker, we now have even more of a suggestion this actually will be a part of Apocalypse's plot - we see a helicopter flying over a snowy towards a dam which just has to be Alkali Lake, the "birthplace" of Wolverine.

How big a part this'll play, or how it'll tie into the previous film (is Mystique behind the program now, or did the real Stryker get in the way?) isn't made clear in the trailer, but this shot, along with that one at the end is certainly what's got me most excited.
