When it comes to fictional worlds, there are few that are as complete and comprehensive as J R R Tolkien's Middle Earth.The setting for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, Middle Earth is truly impressive, both in its scale and in the huge amount of detail that Tolkien managed to cram into it, leaving very few unanswered questions for his readers.

The Hobbit was the work that started it all, telling the story of Bilbo Baggins as he journeyed across Middle Earth with a wizard and a company of dwarves to fight a dragon and reclaim the dwarves' mountain home.
