Zack Snyder's Justice League: 10 Issues That Hold It Back From Greatness

6. There Are A Couple Of Terrible Action Scenes

The finale is absolutely terrific and so is the Justice League fighting the resurrected Superman, but two of the other major set-pieces are pretty awful.

Firstly, there's Wonder Woman's fight scene in the Old Bailey Criminal Court in London. That particular scene is filled with abysmal CGI, looks very weird and has far too much slow-motion.

Now, in fairness, that scene wasn't the best in the theatrical release either, but at least it was shorter in that version and therefore less distracting.

The other set-piece that doesn't work is the Gotham Harbour fight, which is far too long and really boring. Ironically, that particular sequence was considerably better in the theatrical version (mainly because it didn't outstay its welcome), so the Snyder Cut isn't necessarily an improvement on the original in every way.
